Native American Jewelry Workshop (Youth Class & Workshop series)

Native Pathways hosted a Native American Jewelry Workshop on May 9, 2025, at the Joe Balderrama Community Center in Oceanside, CA, as part of their ongoing Youth Class & Workshop series Sponsored by Measure X, City of Oceanside, CA.
Led by a skilled instructor, participants delved into traditional jewelry-making techniques passed down through generations. They explored the cultural meanings and symbolism behind these time-honored methods, gaining a deeper appreciation for the heritage they embody.
In this hands-on, immersive experience, students created their own unique pieces of jewelry—combining traditional craftsmanship with modern design elements. The workshop offered a meaningful opportunity to connect with the rich artistic legacy of Native American culture.
