Native American Gourd Rattle WS x in collaboration with Mission San Luis Rey Parish

We hosted a hands-on workshop exploring the rich tradition of Native American gourd rattles. Viewed as sacred instruments, these rattles had been used for centuries in ceremonies, healing practices, and music. Participants learned about the cultural significance of rattles in various Indigenous traditions, as well as the materials and techniques used to create them.
