Gourd Birdhouse Workshop - March 2025

As part of the Measure X,City of Oceanside funded Youth Series Workshops, Native Pathways hosted their Gourd Birdhouse Workshop in March 2025, led by Alice Farris. Participants learned foundational Native American decoration techniques. Reen Magante (Payómkawish) also assisted and shared a few words in ‘Atáaxum Pomtéela,’ one of the local Native languages, to deepen the cultural connection to the art project.
