Native Pathways will at the: Anstine-Audubon Nature Preserve Clapper Stick Workshop June 6, 2026 11 AM - 1 PM 2437 Hutchinson St. Vista, Ca. 92084 Join us for a hands-on workshop where you'll create your own Native American clapper stick! These traditional percussion instruments-made from split wooden sticks, often elderberry-are used to produce rhythmic sounds that accompany singing, storytelling, and ceremonial dances. More than just musical tools, clapper sticks embody cultural heritage and serve as vessels for oral history.
